Three Safety Features To Check On Your Vehicle Before Your Next Trip
Who doesn’t love a road trip? Getting out of town is a great time, so to make sure your trip is pleasurable and without incident it’s important to make a few pre-travel checklist. Here at Ray Dennison Buick GMC, we’re happy to remind drivers of a few important steps they can take to prepare for a safe and comfortable trip. A few key things to ready your vehicle are:
Check your tires air pressure. One of the top causes of flats are low air pressure. Low air pressure also causes rapid tread wear and can damage your rims.
Check antifreeze levels. Whether it’s winter or summer, before any long trip you want to be sure your engine is getting the proper amount of cooling in the summer and preventing any freezing in the winter.
Make sure your spare tire is full of air and you have a complete jack assembly in case of a flat. Nobody wants to be on the side of the road with a flat tire and a flat spare tire and no jack to change it.
